Microsoft Activesync 3.0: How It Works and Why You Need It for Your Windows CE Device

In this configuration activesync, autodiscover and rpc_https/outlook anywhere were all failing. Outlook clients would not connect using HTTPS only TCPIP, trying to set OOO through Outlook would fail, exchange connectivity tester would fail on the SSL certificate verification. OWA would work of course as the web browsers support TLS but I had some phones that stopped performing activesync correctly. I ended up re-enabling SSL 3.0 but this is only a short term solution until the next PCI scan. Re-enabling SSL3 all issues were resolved and everything passes on testexchangeconnectivity.
